MetroNY WGI DE May11

Just back from two days at The Glen with Metro NY. Great group of people and great event. They run a tight ship but still keep it fun and flexible. I will definitely run with them again.

Lots of severe weather that somehow seemed to miss the track for all sessions. Been a while since I was at The Glen and I'd forgot what a fun, fast track it is. Managed to avoid contact and spins. Minor mechanical in the first session on Thursday but the folks at Topp Performance Racing got it all sorted by the second session.

Lots of Club Race/IMSA Patron drivers out for second day in prep for The Clash. Great to watch them run.

Although an older model, but the car is looking soooo good on those shots. I got get a Glenn one of these days, I waited too long.

Great event! Black was fast on Thursday with all the racers.
Look forward to another trip to Glen soon.
